The first HDTL Junior tournament took place on Sunday 12 June at Harrogate Spa Tennis Centre. All HDTL clubs had been asked to enter, and entrants came from Harlow, Wetherby, Academy and Harrogate Racquets.
Andy Little from Harlow was the orgainiser and referree, and there were 11 competitors, split into two leagues. The two leagues played a singles round robin against the other 4 players. Singles events were played on 5 courts, over 4 games, plus a tie-breaker at 2-2 and results were recorded by Emily Little.
The final match was the best of 5 games, and was played by the winners of league 1 and League 2.
The overall winner was Daniel Wright, and the runner-up was Felix Nimmo.
